About us

Born from one tutor's struggle

TuitoMate didn't start as a startup idea. It started when my wife, a history tutor with a Master's from NTU, couldn't take on more students without the workload overwhelming her.

I asked her: What if I built something that took scheduling, payments, lesson plans, and parent reports off your plate, so you could focus on teaching, stay committed to every student, and still breathe?

Three months later, she told me she couldn't imagine tutoring without it, and that I needed to get it out to other tutors.

My late father was a tutor too. He taught me that this work is a commitment: you can't walk away mid-year and leave students and parents stranded when exams are coming up.
